Bus trip to Market Bosworth Rail Ale Festival
A popular and interesting beer festival held in the goods shed at Market Bosworth Station on the “Battlefield Line” heritage railway. Steam trains, traction engines, music and of course great beer!
We’ll get the 1045 Arriva 153 bus from St Margaret’s Bus Station on Saturday. The bus no longer continues down to the station so we’ll get off at the Market Square then it’s about a 15 min downhill walk to the festival, and we might have chance to have a pint in Market Bosworth village beforehand.
Coming back we’ll use the special beer festival shuttle bus to Hinckley and visit a few pubs there before getting a bus back to Leicester.
An Arriva Zone Plus day ticket at £6.20 will get you there and back, or two adults travelling together can get a Family day ticket for just £7.00. Concessionary bus pass holders can travel for free!
