A visit to a Beer Festival makes a smashing day out. CAMRA branches hold festivals all across the country, with pubs and clubs also holding festivals.

Throughout the ‘Corona Years’ 2020-2021 and the ongoing uncertainty, however, many branches had been forced to either cancel or postpone their events. In fact, the Leicester CAMRA 20/20 Vision Beer Festival was one of the last to be held before the country came to a near standstill.

Meanwhile, the subsequent loss of our venue, the iconic Haymarket Theatre in Leicester city centre, as well as the significant financial risk to our branch and CAMRA nationally, have added to the challenge in organising a festival in 2022.

Consequently, we feel we have run out of time to be able to find a new venue and successfully deliver the festival we would want to put on for you all.

The good news is we are exploring other options to provide some smaller festival(s) and have a working Festival Committee in place, so please watch our social media and website for events as they are arranged!
