{"id":82,"date":"2021-12-22T18:07:35","date_gmt":"2021-12-22T18:07:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/leicester-camra\/leicester-camra-org-uk\/jims-jaunts\/"},"modified":"2022-08-08T15:52:20","modified_gmt":"2022-08-08T14:52:20","slug":"jims-jaunts","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/test-leicester.camra.org.uk\/index.php\/leicester-drinker-magazine\/jims-jaunts\/","title":{"rendered":"Jim&#8217;s Jaunts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have to report the very sad news that our happy wandering&nbsp;pubs correspondent, Jim Reay, passed away on 12th April 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jim was a lovely bloke and a stalwart of the Leicester CAMRA branch going back to our founding days.&nbsp; Between 2013 and 2017 he wrote the &#8220;Jim&#8217;s Jaunts&#8221; pub walks which were a regular feature of the Leicester Drinker magazine and are featured below.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hope you may consider doing one or more of his walks using the brilliantly informative details he gave. <br>We will look at organising a branch &#8220;Jaunt&#8221; in the near future as a fitting tribute to Jim.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Complete List of Jaunts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to follow any of Jim&#8217;s Jaunts yourself, here is the complete list.
